BC HST is Law

This video news coverage regarding BC HST from Vancouver Island’s A News talks about the anti-hst movement and the end of HST debate in the legislature. An interview with NDP’s Carole James vows that this isn’t the end of the HST debate.

There’s also debate regarding whether the HST petition is legal. Elections BC has advised the BC Liberals that they are not allowed to use advertising to convey their message regarding BC HST, placing their planned door to door flyer campaign on hold. BC’s FInance Minister Colin Hansen states that this leaves the Liberals defenseless against the anti-HST movement which the Liberal’s claim is using false information in order to fight the Harmonized Sales Tax.
